Robert Lee Gross, age 62 of Mt. Carmel, Ohio was born on January 25, 1951 in Barbourville, Kentucky. He was the son of Mae Burton Lickliter and Earnest Lickliter. Robert died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
Robert worked for many years at the Barbourville Gulf Service Station and Shulte and Brass until he retired.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Mae and Earnest Lickliter, his father-in-law Robert France, and several aunts and uncles.
Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn France Gross, a stepdaughter, Jeanette West and husband Adam of Cincinnati, two granddaughters Samantha and Sierra of Cincinnati. His mother-in-law Nancy France of Flat Lick, Kentucky. Two sisters, Bonnie Callihan and husband Scott of Bimble, Kentucky, Judy Foley and husband Greg of Barbourville, Kentucky. A brother, Scotty Lickliter of Corbin, Kentucky. Five nieces, Gina Callihan May, Amanda and Alason Foley, Jessalyn and Taylor Lickliter and one nephew Braeden Lickliter. One great niece Lily Kate May, and two great nephews Dane Foley And Noah May. Cousins Shirley Tye, Sandy, Johnny and Amy. He has five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law of Cincinnati and several other nieces and nephews in Ohio. He also has several uncles, aunts, and cousins to mourn his passing.
Services for Robert Lee Gross will be held at the Moore Funeral Home in Newtown, Ohio on Monday August 26, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation is on August 26, from 10:00 until the service at 12:00.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
