Roy Harold Marcelli age 75, of Columbia, Kentucky, the husband of the late Gurie Rutherford Marcelli, was born on July 25, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a son of the late Peter Anthony Marcelli and Martha Katherine Lillyrous Marcelli. Mr. Marcelli died at his home, Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was a retired
Injection Engineer and attended the Belleville Baptist Church in Columbia. His wife, Gurie preceded him in death on September 9, 2012.

He is survived by his son, Roy Anthony Marcelli and his daughter, Loretta Davis both of Russell Springs, Kentucky; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral Services for Roy Harold Marcelli will be conducted at the Wilson Funeral Home at Russell Springs, Kentucky, at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 23, 2012, with Bro. Garlin Wilson officiating. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs, Tuesday at 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 3:00 pm. There will be funeral services at the Hopper Funeral Home, Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Danny Hembree officiating. Burial will follow in the Rutherford Cemetery at Swan Lake in Knox County, with family members and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Wednesday after 2:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 4:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
