Obituary

Seretta Maria Baker Jackson of Flat Lick, Kentucky lost her
battle with Heart Disease, Monday March 6, 2017 and went
home to be with her Lord. Seretta was a Baptist and
a member of the Concord Baptist Church at Flat Lick. She
loved and was known for her quilting and was a active
member of the Republican Party. She so enjoyed talking on
the phone with her sisters and friends. Preceding her
in death are her parents, McKinley and Mossie Sizemore
Baker, Daughter, Greta E. Gray, three brothers, Jessie,
Clayton and Matt Baker; two Step-sons, Gary and Tony
Jackson.

Seretta is survived by her husband of thirty-four years,
Joe Jackson; a daughter, Kim Gambrell and husband, David;
son; Calvin M. Gray; step-son, Joe Thomas Jackson and wife,
Mary; step-daughter; Norma Tilford and husband,
Keith; six grandchildren; Dr. Chad Gambrell and wife,
Chassidy; Seretta Epperson and husband, Chris; Kimberly
Patterson, Bobby Robinson and wife, Cheryl; Monica Gray
and Calvin M. Gray Jr., five sisters; Imagene Sizemore,
Doris Hinkle and husband, Clint; Donna Taylor and husband,
Robert; Carol Jones, Sharon Biehle and husband, Dale;
eleven grandchildren five step-grandchildren; six nieces;
thirteen nephews; many great nieces and nephews, special
cousins and good friends whom will miss her.

Funeral Services for Seretta Maria Baker Jackson will be
conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, March
10, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ron Howard and Rev. Larry
Sowders officiating. Burial will follow at the Gray
Cemetery at Sandy Branch in Knox County, with Michael
Hinkle, Ronnie Baker, Brandon Crane, Eric Jackson,
Craig Baker, Ron McKinley Garland, Stephan Mills, and
Dustin Patterson serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers
will be; Eugene Gambrell, Dr. Talmadge Hays, Gary Smith,
Dale Biehle, Clint Hinkle, Robert Taylor and Cotton Baker.
Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Thursday
6:00 to 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am Friday until the funeral
hour at 1:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all
arrangements.
