Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Ann Smith , 83, of Indianapolis IN, passed away on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana after her battle with illness. She was born in Cadiz, KY, on January 25 th , 1936, daughter of the late Berthal Stallons and the late Ruth Broadbent.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford, and from their 66 years of marriage are survived by their four children, David Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana, and John Smith of Lake Wales, Florida and their two daughters Pamela Hinkle and husband Jack of Duncan South Carolina and Rhonda Tucker and husband Charles of Cincinnati, Ohio. Shirley served the Lord faithfully alongside her husband, Clifford, in pastoring and supporting many churches across Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky for several decades, and as a long-time caregiver to many family, friends and loved ones.

She is also survived by her brothers-in-law H.R Smith, Harold Smith, Aaron Smith, Paul Smith and her sisters-in-law Dorothy Messer, Betty Miracle, and Geneva Horner and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Smith will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carlos Burdine, Rev. Jon Burdine, Rev. Charles Bright and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Mills Cemetery at Hammond, KY. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hopper Funeral Home.

Family and friends are welcome to a gathering with refreshments at Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bimble, KY following the committal  at Henry Mills Cemetery.
