Stanley Carnes, Sr., a resident of Westland, Michigan and formerly of Walker, Kentucky passed away on Friday May 27, 2016 at the age of 93.

He was the beloved husband of Goldie, and the loving father of Stanley Jr., Charlotte (Jerry) Dusina, Wanda (Dennis) Garrison, Sharon (James) Jones, Gregory (Karen) Carnes, the late Phillip Lee and the late Lorene. He was the cherished grandfather of 13, and great-grandfather of 16.

Mr. Carnes will be resting at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan (8809 Wayne Road at Joy Road) on Sunday, May 29, from 2-8 p.m. His funeral service will take place at 7 p.m Sunday evening. He will be laid to rest at the Mont G. Warren Cemetery at Walker, Kentucky, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Friends will be received at the cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
