Steven D. Collins, age 59, of Clinton, Tennessee, and formerly of Barbourville, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was a son of Bertha G. Hamilton and the late Finley D. Collins, born to them on September 8, 1956 in Marion, Ohio.

Steven was a well known State Certified Welder; and a Member of the Church of the Nazarene.

In the year of 1995, he united in marriage to Sherry Petrosky.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother: Finley W. Collins, and by his sister: Rita G. Collins.

Steven is survived by his loving family: His dear Mother: Bertha G. Brooks.
His wife: Sherry Petrosky Collins.
His children: Finley S. Sitcler, Jeremy D. Sitcler, Kourtney D. Collins, April Coon, and Jennifer Coon.
His seven grandchildren.
His three brothers: Charles E. Mason, Thomas Johnson, and Timothy Johnson.
His loving pet Dog: Fred Dago Collins; and his loving Cat: Mollie Dago Collins; and many other relatives and dear friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Steven D. Collins will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Gilmore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Finley, Jeremy, Charles, Mike, Mitch and Dave.

The Collins family will receive friends after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the Hopper Funeral Home, and until the hour of service.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
