Steven Edward Hoskins, age 55, of Gray, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home.  He was a son of the late Granville and Lorene Frazier Hoskins, born to them on July 22, 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Steven was Vice President of Business and Financial Services at Union College, and attended the First Baptist Church of Barbourville.

On August 25, 1990, he united in marriage to Mary Louise Dasenbrock.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Sherry Ann Hoskins and a infant sister Vivian; and by a sister-in-law: Louise.

Steven is survived by his wife and the love of his life: Mary Louise Hoskins of Gray.  His daughter: Kristina Carr and husband, Craig of Cincinnati, Ohio, and by his son: Nick Luers and wife, Natasha of Corbin, Kentucky and his six grandchildren.  His two brothers: Gerald Hoskins of Barbourville, and George Michael Hoskins of Lexington, Kentucky.  His two sisters: Jeanie Lee Owens and Husband, David of Sadieville, Kentucky, and Angela Diane Higgs and Husband, David of Newnan, Georgia; and many aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn his passing.

A Celebration of the life of Steven Edward Hoskins will be 3:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Union College Conway Boatman Chapel with Jimmy Mills, Larry Inkster, Rev. Robert Girard and Friends.

Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Joshua Mills, Jason York, Jimmy Mills, Matthew Owens, James Jamieson, Gerald Hoskins, Willie Hoskins, Bart Osborne and Clay Butler.

The Hoskins family will receive friends after 1:00 pm Friday at the Union College Conway Boatman Chapel and until the hour of service.
