AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Sue Ann Taylor , 87, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 9, 2021. Sue Ann was born to the late Charles Brown Sutton and the late Anna Mae Holman Sutton on September 10, 1933, in Barbourville, grew up in Richmond, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University.  Sue Ann taught art in Ohio and Georgia after graduation before settling into the role she loved the most as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who loved the Lord.  Sue Ann had lived in Aiken, S.C., for the past 16 years. Prior to that, she lived in Lexington and Augusta, Ga., for 39 years. Sue Ann was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington and attended Berlin Baptist Church in Wagener, S.C., for the past 16 years.

Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her adoring husband of 58 years, Dr. Paul F. Taylor; and her sister, Charlotte Breed. Survivors include a son, Larry (Dee) Taylor, Aiken, S.C.; and granddaughters Jordan Mink, Aiken; and Anna (Kitt) Moore, Hilda, S.C.

A private graveside service will be held in Kentucky for Sue Ann.
