Victor Mills, age 68, of Scalf, died Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home.
He was a son of the late Lige Lee Mills and Roxie Mills, born to them on April 14, 1945 at Scalf.
Victor was a well known Knox County Logger, and a member of the Union Mission Baptist Church.
On April 16, 1963, he united in marriage to Annie Bingham, and to this union four children were born.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters: Lovella Mills, Bobbi Jean Mills and Madeline Mills Bingham; and by his two brothers: Dexter Mills and Dallas Mills.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 49 years: Annie Bingham Mills of Scalf.
His loving children: Ricky Mills and wife, Sharlene of Scalf; Lovella Mills and husband, Larry of Dewitt; Jerry Mills and wife, Jennifer of Scalf; and Melinda Mills and husband, Michael of Hammons Fork.
His loving grandchildren: Brandon Mills, Bobby Epperson, Melinda Hall, Kaylan Deaton, Nicholas Mills, Delia Mills, Laukisha Mills, Courtney Mills, and Alexis Mills.
His loving great grandchildren: Levi Mills, Brayden Hall, Jeremiah Hall, Emily Epperson, Trevor Epperson and Ricky Lloyd Deaton.
His loving sisters: Rowena Frederick and husband, James of Scalf; Joyce Hubbard and husband, David of Scalf; Irene Mills and husband, Carlos of Scalf; and Beulah Burton of London.
His loving brother-in-law: Lee Bingham.
His loving sister-in-law: Lola Mills; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Victor Mills will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Bargo and Rev. Kennon Roark officiating.
Burial will follow in the Binghamtown Cemetery at Flat Lick.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be Friends and Neighbors.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
The Mills family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 5:00 P.M. on Monday, and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., and on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
