Mr. Virgil Grubb of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019. Mr. Grubb was formerly of Bryant's Store, Knox County, Kentucky. Mr. Virgil Grubb was born to Silas Grubb and Flora Mills on January 30, 1944.  Mr. Grubb was married at one time to Zella Williams and to this union one son, John, was born. Mr. Grubb worked for McCalls Magazine in Ohio.

Mr. Grubb was preceded in death by his mother and father: Flora and Silas Grubb and also by his brother Wayne Grubb.

Virgil Grubb leaves behind to mourn his passing, one son, John Grubb and his wife Jamie, of  Corbin, Kentucky and one sister, Gail Perkins and her husband, Frank of  Bryant's Store, Kentcuky. Mr. Grubb also leaves behind three grandchildren: Hunter Grubb (Lucy), Harleigh Grubb and Halle Grubb. He leaves behind one great-grandchild, Naomi Grubb.

Funeral Services for Mr. Virgil Grubb will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Hopper Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Terry Broughton officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Croley Cemetery in Bryant's Store, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Paul Brock, Chris Fyffe, Steve Fullmer, Hunter Grubb, Bob O'Neil and John Grubb.
