Wendell Lundy age 77, of Knox County, Kentucky, was born there on
October 26, 1940. He was a son of the late Need Lundy and Edith
Tuggle Lundy. Wendell died Monday, June 26, 2017 at the home of his son, Douglas in London, Kentucky. He was the husband of the late Murlene Collins Lundy. Wendell was a member of the Heidrick Holiness Church. He retired from CSX Railroad Company. Along with his parents and wife, Murlene, Wendell was preceded in death by two daughters, Frannie and Wendy and a brother E.J. Lundy.

Wendell is survived by his son; Douglas H. Lundy and wife, Susan of London; his grandchildren; Sarah Fugate, Neidra Lundy, Travis Lundy, and Jared Lundy; great grandchildren; Liam Lundy, Anna Elise Fugate and Caden Lundy.

Graveside services for Mr. Lundy will be conducted in the Tuggle Cemetery at Heidrick, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. The Lundy Family will receive friends at the cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
