William "Bill" Sizemore, age 103, of Bryants Store, died Monday, September 1, 2014 in the Saint Joseph Hospital in London.
He was a son of the late John and Amanda Hammons Sizemore, born to them on May 18, 1911 at Bimble.

Bill retired from the Lumber Business where he was well known; and he loved to farm, and was a well known Knox County farmer; and was a member of the Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church.

On October 19, 1934, he united in marriage to Alice Mills, and to this union Six children were born.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Amanda Hammons Sizemore; his wife: Alice Mills Sizemore on July 4, 1980; his children: Maxine Sizemore, John Sizemore, Ona Lee Sizemore Ross, and Bernice Sizemore Clouse; his brothers and sisters: Pascal Sizemore, Charlie Sizemore, Axie Sizemore Powell, Pearl Sizemore Hemphill, Edna Sizemore Marion and Elizabeth Sizemore Mills; his son-in-law: Frank Ross; and by his daughter-in-law: Sherry Ann Sizemore.

He is survived by his loving family: His son: Willard Sizemore.
His daughter: Florene (Sizemore) Pridemore. His son-in-law: Herman Clouse. His five grandchildren: Michael Sizemore, Nicholas Sizemore, Danny Pridemore and wife, Kendra, Jennifer Lieto and husband, Joe, and Scot Clouse and wife, Monica.
His seven great grandchildren: Lanedon Gambrel, Trevor Sizemore, Whitney Sizemore, Jacob Pridemore, Kelsey Pridemore, Katelyn Polich and Mitchell Polich; and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for William "Bill" Sizemore will be conducted on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Teague and Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Powers Cemetery on Fourmile Hollow at Bryants Store.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Michael Sizemore, Danny Pridemore, Scot Clouse, Nick Sizemore, Trevor Sizemore, Lanedon Gambrel, Mitch Polich and Jacob Pridemore.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all Friends and Neighbors of the Sizemore family.

The Sizemore family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Tuesday after 6:00 P.M., and on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
