Willie Drucilla Golden Hembree, age 77, of Corbin, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
She was a daughter of the late Sill Moss and Carrie Ellen Hembree Golden, born to them on October 20, 1938 at Ingram, Kentucky.
Drucilla was a well known and loved retired Librarian, having served in the Knox County and Bell County School systems; and was a Member of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.
On December 3, 1966, she united in marriage to Corb Hembree, and to this union a daughter: Brooke Elizabeth was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Sill and Carrie Golden; her husband of over 46 years: Corb Hembree on August 21, 2013; and by her brother: Clayton Golden.
She is survived by her loving family: Her daughter: Brooke Elizabeth Hembree of Corbin.
Her siblings: Maudie (GK) Vanbever, Lovella (Bob) Abraham, Lynne Golden, Rita (Shelton) Evans, Thomas (Caffie) Golden, Betty (and the late Clayton) Golden, James (Barbara) Golden, and Don (Pam) Golden.
She also leaves other special relatives: Silas and Jean Goodin, and Chasteen Baker; and many aunts and uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives, and dear friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Drucilla Golden Hembree will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2016 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herschel Walker and Rev. Todd Golden officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Chad Golden, Shane Golden, John Golden, Christopher Golden, Nick Evans, Brent Fuson, Keith Hembree, and Matt Hembree.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Silas Golden, Bill Logan Hampton, John Bill Martin, and Albert Hembree.
A special recognition to: Professional Home Healthcare, and to the Staff of Baptist Health of Corbin.
The Hembree family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Thursday after 6:30 P.M., and on Friday until the hour of service.
