Willie Denver Iles age 90, of the Davis Bend Community, Barbourville was born on February 5, 1925 at Davis Bend. She was a daughter of
the late Alice Hendrickson. Mrs. Iles died Monday, February 1, 2016
at her home at Davis Bend. She was a member of the Davis Chapel
Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Jennings B. Iles and to this union a beloved daughter, Patricia
was born. Along with her husband, Jennings and mother, Alice, she
was preceded in death by twin sisters; Rena Phipps and Reba Mays.
Mrs. Iles leaves to mourn her passing her dear daughter, Patricia
Cailleteau and husband, Leo P. Cailleteau Jr. of Montgomery,
Texas; grandchildren; Leo Cailleteau III; great grandsons; Leo Cailleteau IV and Connor Miles; her sisters; Faye Elliott and Geraldine Scalf both of Davis Bend; Mildred Napier of London; her
brothers; Howard King and wife Sue and Allen King and wife, Hazel all
of Barbourville; she also leaves many dear nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
Funeral Services for Willie Denver Iles will be conducted at the
Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at Davis Bend, Thursday,
February 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Elmore Kelly Jr. and Rev.
Trae Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery,with
Tommy Scalf, Tommy Mays Jr., Vernon Cole and other family and
dear friends serving as pallbearers. The family of Mrs. Iles would
like to extend a special thank you to Michelle, Donna, Sue and
Christine from the Hospice of the Bluegrass, Caregivers, Georgia Butler and Georgia Miller, and to her loving sisters, Faye and Geraldine who helped care for her during her illness. Friends will be received at the Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Wednesday 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday
after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
