Zella Jaret Williams Smith age 72 of Corbin passed away Tuesday at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born on August 24,1945 in Columbus, OH to the late Foyster Williams and Zella Jaret Martin Williams. She was a member of the Artemus Baptist Church and was a Housekeeper at Christian Health Center.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Foyster Williams, Jr and a sister: Stella Louise Williams.

She is survived by her loving son John Virgil Grubb and wife Jaime of Corbin, a brother: John Williams and wife Pamela of Artemus and a sister: Mary Rice and husband Roy of Corbin, three grand children Hunter, Harleigh and Halle Grubb all of Corbin. Plus several other dear relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 17, 2018 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donovan Cain officiating Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Paul Brock, Steve Fullmer, Chris Fyffe, Kevin Mills, Scott Williams, John Grubb, Hunter Grubb and Josh Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brennan, Kevin and Nick Warfield.

The family will receive friends at Hopper Funeral Home Friday after 6:00 P.M. and Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
